I first spied this wonderful store on Dwell's site. Blanket Store is a, well, blanket store, based in Frankfurt Germany. I absolutely love this little shop!

big type book
Oh, what a great little book! Some notes from the poster, "Types in the cases of William M. Cheney Los Angeles, was published by Dawson's Book Shop and printed by Cheney in 1961 in an edition of 139 copies. It is a great example of the fine printing, coupled with dry humor for which Cheney was well known." View more shots at typesticke flickr page.

sewn from the soul | street etiquette
A bit of a late post, Sewn From the Soul by Street Etiquette. A beautiful editorial project of "Style and History" for Black History Month. Nice to see some dudes in the style blog game. They also posted a video of the shoot.

clamp lamp
And while we're drooling over the Monocle shop, this limited edition clamp lamp would make a nice addition. Available here.
illustrated world map
Would love to have this map in a kid's room. Created by Japanese illustrator Satoshi Hashimoto and available at the Monocle Shop.

pancake house
Loving this old signage taken out the Pancake House in Topeka. And you can't beat a nice diamond pattern on the building.
